Our Programs

Handicap Driver Training is here to help you get back on the road after an injury or illness. Our Driver Rehabilitation Specialist-led programs use specially equipped vehicles, simulators, and adaptive equipment to help you feel confident behind the wheel again. We have more than 30 years of experience and expertise to help you drive safely, get your driving permit, and regain your driving independence.

We also offer other programs to meet your unique needs, subject to a Comprehensive Evaluation with our Driver Rehabilitation Specialist.

How Our Comprehensive Evaluation Works

The Handicap Driver Training Comprehensive Evaluation is a specialized program designed to help determine your ability to drive safely and the modifications or adaptive equipment needed to help you achieve your road independence.

How Our Comprehensive Evaluation Works

Step 1

Get a Physician’s prescription or referral for your driving evaluation needs.

Step 2

Schedule your Clinical Evaluation with us. We will assess your vision, cognition, and movement during this session. We will also conduct an equipment assessment to determine which equipment would be the safest and best option for your needs.

Step 3

We will conduct a Behind-the-Wheel Evaluation to assess your driving skills and comfortability with the adaptive equipment and determine your driving skills.
