When it comes to driving with a physical disability and driver safety, we access each clients specific need, working directly with the most reliable mobility companies to make each client driving as comfortable and safely as possible. Here are examples of some of the more common adaptive equipment used in our evaluation vehicles.

MPS Push/ Right Angle

The most popular and least fatiguing hand control.

The brakes are applied by the forward motion away from the driver and the gas or accelerator is applied by a downward movement toward the driver’s lap.

MPS Push/ Pull

Push down toward the floor for brake and pull back for acceleration.

MPS Push/ Rock

Push forward toward the brake pedal the brakes. When rocked rearward toward the user, the accelerator is applied. It also comes with Accelerator lock-out feature for added safety.

F1 EVO

Stationary floor-mounted single lever both gas and brake.

Use your right hand to pull the handgrip to accelerate, and push it to brake.

Electronic Hand Controls

GTS Accelerator Ring

Electronic accelerator ring mounted on top of your steering wheel.

Push any point of the ring to accelerate. Acceleration is cut whenever hard braking is applied

Modena

All in one accelerator and mechanical brake.

Rotate the end of the lever down to accelerate and push to brake.

GT2

Electronic accelerator and mechanical brake.

Press trigger for acceleration and depress trigger and push forward to brake.

Sticksteer

Small removable keypad that attaches to the steering wheel to give your finger tips control of 11 features.
Control headlight, high beams, windshield wipers, signal lights, horn, ext.

Spinner Knob

The most popular choice to ease the challenge of steering.

Single Pin

For drivers that cannot open their hand fully.

V-Grip

For drivers with moderate gripping strength.

Tri-Pin

For drivers with minimal gripping strength and/or reduced wrist stability.

Palm Grip

A great alternative to the Tri-Pin; for clients that do not require wrist support.

Amputee Ring

For drivers with a Prosthetic hook.

Pedals

Left Foot Accelerator Pedal

Left Foot Accelerator Pedal with Pedal Guard allows the driver to accelerate with the left foot.

Accelerator/ Brake Guard

To guard against inadvertent contact with the vehicle accelerator and brake pedal.
Quick Release function makes easy removal for able bodied persons.

Pedal Extentions

To extend the accelerator and brake pedal as needed.
