1. What is included in the Handicap Driver Training Program?

  • Handicap Driver Training Program offers services in:
  • Coaching Sessions for Permit (90 Minutes)
  • Driving Training (90 Minutes per lesson)
  • Driver or Equipment Evaluation
  • Fitting with Mobility Company
  • Driving Assessment (with a written report)
  • Comprehensive Assessment (Clinical & Driving Assessment with a 5 page written Report, Dr. Prescription required)
  • State Drive Test at the Field Office
  • State Drive Test at Driver Safety Office

2. How are payments made?

Payments can be made per session or in a bundle of 10, 25 or 50 sessions.

3. Do rates change if lessons occur in student or instructor vehicles?

Rates are the same if training is given in the school’s vehicle or the student’s vehicle (the student’s vehicle must have an instructor’s brake).

4. Do you offer payment plans?

We currently do not offer payment plans. Sessions must be paid in advance or at the time of instruction.

5. Are there more charges for special equipment?

There is no extra charge for any special equipment used.

6. What equipment do you offer?

Once an evaluation has occurred and equipment is determined, Handicap Driver Training can work with you to obtain the necessary specialized equipment.

7. What is your cancellation policy?

Scheduled sessions must be cancelled within 24 hours in advance.
